So goes the old hymn. In our world, there is much controversy about the cross; its use and symbolism fall under constant criticism and attack from all classes of people in all societies.
Why?
Why are so many people against the cross?

The cross is a symbol of the power of Jesus Christ. The power of Jesus Christ is a supernatural power that literally changes a person at the innermost core of their being.

If you are seeking the Truth about Life-its meaning, purpose and destination-then I urge you: Seek your answer at the Cross.

Jesus Christ made a declaration: "Come unto me, all ye that are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Another: "To as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the children of God."

There is room at the cross for you.
Kneel at the Cross, Christ will meet you there.

"THE TRUTH IS MY BEST FRIEND"

I just watched the video of Hannity and Colmes from several days ago when Hannity was pressing Huckabee about the parole of Wayne Dumond. I can't understand Hannity's obsession with these sleazy news stories about rapes and sex crimes, but he was pressing the issue again, after Huckabee had very clearly and articulately rebuffed all the criticisms on Hannity's radio show.

In a brief summary of this TV interview: HUCKABEE CLEANS HANNITY'S CLOCK!!!

The more you see and hear Huckabee, the more you will come to like him. He is on the right side of every issue. He is honest about his shortcomings and he takes action to corrrect them once he has identified them.

Huckabee made the statement to Hannity: "The truth is my best friend"
Yes it is Mike. Yes it is.
Jesus Christ Himself said it: Know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

Dear Reader: Find out the truth. Seek the Truth. Your freedom depends on your knowledge of the truth in every aspect of your life.

The Truth is: Mike Huckabee is the best man for President. Hands Down

The Truth is: Jesus Christ will save you from your sin, if you will ask Him to.

Religion and Politics are the two most important pieces of life as we know it. Do not ignore either one.

It is time for the church to stand up and Shine the Light of Jesus Christ into a lost and dying world. The Bible says "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power or God unto salvation to every one that believeth."

Christians have the power from God to be the example of someone who can COMPLETELY CONQUER THE POWER OF SIN IN A PERSONAL LIFE if christians will simply take the whole armor of God and stand against the wiles of the devil!

The church must stop its PANDERING TO SIN and stand fast in the Liberty wherewith Christ has set us free.
JESUS IS RIGHT, SIN IS WRONG, AND THAT'S THE WAY IT IS!

History Making Moon Mission Unveiled


San Jose, CA, December 6th, 2007 – The first team to complete registration for the $30M Google Lunar X PRIZE unveiled its plans today at the Space Investment Summit in San Jose, California. Representatives of Odyssey Moon announced their plans to make history with the first private robotic mission to the surface of the Moon and their intent to win the Google Lunar X PRIZE competition. Odyssey Moon’s inaugural mission will involve a unique small robotic lander designed to deliver scientific, exploration and commercial payloads to the surface of the Moon.
Odyssey Moon, a private commercial lunar enterprise headquartered in the Isle of Man, is the brainchild of Dr. Robert (Bob) Richards, a founder of the International Space University. “We applaud the X PRIZE Foundation and Google for creating the first privately funded race to the Moon,” he said.

This is a news story that I can be absolutely excited about! A Privately Funded mission to the moon!

Do you realize that this is what Freedom is all about? I truly believe that with this new development, a private mission to the moon, that the technological advances and inventions will increase exponentially as compared with NASA. There is no substitute for monetary incentive in any field requiring technological invention.

Maybe we will get to the Moon by 2020!

PERSECUTION

Christians in America do not know what true persecution is. We hear how hard it is to live a christian life and stand against all the evil influences of society, yet how many in America have been physically attacked for their faith? How many churches have been destroyed in America with the silent consent of the government authorities? How many Christians have been literally tortured and killed for their professed Faith in Jesus Christ?

I dare say that Christians in America suffer not from persecution, but from pathetic persistance in pursuing petty lusts of the flesh!

Here's a quote from a news story out of Indonesia:
INDONESIA Christian Churches Attacked - Christian World NewsRecently, a mob of Muslim extremists attacked a house church outside Jakarta, Indonesia, smashing glass windows and destroying property. The extremists threw bricks and stones at Christians. According to Christian World News (CWN), "Church members were hurt, including the head pastor, Lau Doloksaribu, who received two stitches in his temple." Speaking to CWN News, Doloksaribu, who heads Protestant Batak Church, said the attack was not just on his body, but the extremists had assaulted his God-given rights. He added, "The freedom to worship is a basic human right. It is not given by government or the authorities, but it is a free gift from God that should be respected by everyone. And actually, the freedom to worship is guaranteed by the law." The CWN News report stated, "Victims of the attacks say the Indonesian government is doing little to protect their right to worship without interference. Houses of worship are required to have a minimum of 90 members. They must also receive the approval of at least 60 neighbors before they legally hold services." Pray for Christians wounded in the attack and ask God to protect them. Isaiah 40:31, Romans 8:11
